Potato Leek Soup Recipe

Materials of Potato Soup Recipe

·               4 - Potato
·               3 - leeks
·               1 Qt chicken stock
·               ½ cup light cream
·               ¼ cup butter
·               ½ Cup milk
·               Teaspoon celery seeds
·               2 tablespoons onion-celery, green (finely chopped)
·               -¼ of a teaspoon Chervil (minced)
·               Parsley
·               Crouton


Leek Soup Recipe Preparation:


Potato Soup

Peeling potatoes & cut them quarters. Remove the green parts of leeks and wash it. Finely cut the white part of the leeks & keep aside. In a saucepan melt the butter and add the necessary amount. Add shallots and leek's white part and color becomes light brown until cooked. Then add chicken, diced potatoes, stock, celery, salt and cook it about 20-25 minutes until potatoes are cooked correctly. Apart the leeks and potatoes in a containers & mash them properly evenly use a potato masher. Mashed potato and leek, cream of milk now add it again and cook and stir for 2 minutes. Now add proper amount of salt, chervil and pepper in the soup with parsley. Add croutons with the soup, you may want to add flavor to the soup.
